The Venue

Our thriving oasis is split into four areas, so that we can provide a safe and stimulating environment for all of our children, enabling them to mix with children of similar age groups.

Baby room

Our baby room is especially set up for children from 3 months onwards. Our dedicated staff ensure routines are followed for each individual child, as they would be at home. Tummy time, sensory play, opportunities to roll, crawl, and walk are all part of what is on hand for our babies. Natural sensory baskets, holistic bottles, and messy play are all ways to enhance and widen your baby’s awareness and senses, and we have a designated outdoor shaded green area connected to our baby room that is set up with outdoor activities including a ball pool, sand play and a swing.

Our separate sleep area ensures a cosy time for babies to get their much-needed rest and they are monitored by our teachers to ensure they are safe, even when sleeping.

Feeding times are lots of fun in our baby room and independence is always encouraged. There is a mini- kitchen with the necessary sterilizer, microwave and fridge all on hand to keep babies routine as much on target as we can.

The adult to baby ratio is very high with at least one member of staff to every three babies. The number of babies in this unit will never exceed eight.

Toddlers

From our baby room, children move into the toddler area or the ‘turning 2’s’ as they are better known. As we see each child as an individual, we ensure that the move from baby room is smooth and comforting for the child, and some children often need more adjustment time than others.

Our turning 2’s classroom is full of fun exciting activities, which promote fun, but also incorporate vital life skills. It is so important during this age group that children are interacting and socialising with other children. Sensorial play is a huge aspect of the turning 2’s and covers many activities such as messy play, large floor painting and body painting plus much more.

Independence is a huge part of children’s development, and at this age it is important to give children time: Time to take their shoes off and put them back on; Time to be in control of their own snack bag; Time to walk and not be carried. Our teachers work with the children to encourage this independence and the look of achievement of the children’s faces is amazing to see.

Pre-FoundationNumber 1 nursery in Dubai

Our pre-foundation or ‘turning 3’s’ classes are set up to further challenge the children and stimulate their growing minds. As learning through play is the key factor, children are challenged through their play to learn and grow. Towers will be build bigger, train tracks will be longer, paint brushes and mark making utensils become smaller – all to help stimulate the fine motor and gross motor developmental areas.

Confidence in talking, forming longer sentences, asking friends and teachers for help is all part of the language development. Name recognition at snack time, letter and sound recognition during register time, mark making and role play are all ways to broaden children’s knowledge of the world around them and encourage them to explore and learn in a fun way

Pre-foundation classes ensure that our children move into Foundation Year 1 as happy and confident individuals, equipped to make the most of the next stage in their development

Foundation Year 1number1n nurseries in dubai

Foundation Stage 1 at Children’s Oasis Nursery is a world of wonder for children before they head over to “big school”. In this class children are encouraged to make decisions, research, plan for their activities and be part of the daily decision making. Little tasks are given to challenge the children, we have daily helpers who choose activities, set the table for snack time, help with register time and many more little things. All of this helps the children to gain confidence in speech, handle conflict, make decisions and most of all help them become their own person.

Children are prepared for moving to big school by learning a lot of academics through play, researching the things they need answers for, helping each other with activities and making friends. At the end of the year our Foundation class graduate with a lovely ceremony that parents talk about for years to come.

Although expectations are higher in these classes, we never forget the importance of providing a caring and fun atmosphere with an emphasis on individual development and growth.

We will always have extremely fond and treasured memories of our girls time at Children’s Oasis. The teachers are so creative and fun, always thinking of new ways to engage the children and the thoughtful and varied outdoor areas were always a favourite of theirs. We loved the intimate, friendly feel and all the little extras which makes it feel that you are part of a community. Thanks for everything, we really couldn’t have asked for a better start and we will miss you all.

From Paul and Katy Rogers (Dad & Mum)

What I love about Children's Oasis is how well looked after my children are and how comfortable they feel. They know the names of most of the staff and will always say 'hi' and often stop for a chat. It's a calm and nurturing environment.

From Zoi (Mum)

We love children’s Oasis Nursery. It has been a part of our lives for over 8 years with both our girls going there. The staff are all amazing and really care for the children.

Desde las maestras, hasta la directora y el ambiente de la escuela tuvimos una experiencia fenomenal y estamos entusiasmados de volver en Septiembre! Muchas gracias Children's Oasis!!!

From Adriana (Mum)

Both my boys were at Children Oasis from the time they were 2 and until they were 4 years old; first attending the Spanish Programme and then, FS1. Both classes were great! The teachers are incredibly professional and caring. The communication with the parents is excellent and reports are detailed. They make learning fun and engaging for the kids who learn through hands-on activities and play. The facilities are beautiful with lots of stimulating and educational books and toys.  I couldn't ask for more during those early years for my children!
